Here are some extracts from the report:
Very well presented property situated in a quiet location in the small village of Pentewan. The property appears to be well maintained. Across the lane is a small garden with brick BBQ and outdoor seating available for guest use. Off road parking for 2 small cars.
Housekeeping standards were excellent throughout. The open plan dining and living area was spotlessly clean and free from dust at high and low levels. Bathroom sanitary ware was exceptionally clean, mirrors and chrome fittings sparkled. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean with polished wood surfaces and attention to high and low levels.
A good size entrance hallway provides a welcoming first impression. The lounge / dining room is neatly decorated, original character features retained, in particular the stone fire surround and exposed beams. Slate flooring is well maintained and in excellent condition. A cosy cottage room well configured for guest comfort and ease of use.
Sturdy beds and excellent mattresses are well protected and provide very good levels of resistance and comfort. Bedding is in very good condition and replaced as required. Bedrooms are comfortably configured to ensure the comfort of guests.
The bathroom has recently been upgraded and now presents to a very good standard with a modern contemporary feel to the room. The stained glass window provides additional interest and privacy. Wet wall panels have been fitted throughout and slate ledges providing ample space for storage of guest personal items.
Traditional style kitchen units and work surfaces are of a good quality and present well, plenty of space is available for appliances and guest items. Lighting is well placed, heating and natural ventilation appear to be effective. Equipment is of a very good quality and appears to be well maintained. Ample Cornish crockery, good weight cutlery and a range of glassware is available along with a very good provision of cookware and utensils.
